XR Hack Cologne – 18.-20.08.2024, Startplatz Cologne

XR Hack is the first global XR Champions League, inviting over 500 XR and AI developers to join our on-site Hack locations in London, Cologne, Stockholm and Istanbul. The Hack is organized by XR Bootcamp, which partners with Meta and provides a prize pool of min. 100,000 USD. Corporate partners provide real-world industry challenges with additional prizes. Hackers are invited to hack using the latest XR and AI tech stacks released over the past 11 months and get matched with corporate XR tech decision-makers.

The Cologne edition kicks off the series and has an additional 10.000 Dollar prize pool. We are happy to welcome international XR-professionals as mentors, like Skeeva (YouTuber), Dennys, Kuehnert (Holonautic), Stephen Rogers (4th Wall Breakers) or Cas & Chary (YouTubers), as well as experts from Meta to help out with any technical question you might have. For the hackathon Meta provides Meta Quest 3 headsets for the teams. The location Startplatz is a well proven start-up hub, coworking space and incubator, easy to reach, air conditioned and close to the trade fair where Gamescom will start the next day.

At the end of day 3 the hackathon closes with a big party where everybody in XR is invited, to celebrate the community and warm-up Gamescom, which will take place the next day. Participants of the hackathon have free access to the party.
