The Venice Immersive section of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival is dedicated entirely to the immersive arts and media, and includes all forms of creative XR expression: immersive videos, virtual and mixed reality, virtual worlds, XR and immersive installations. The programme is hosted on the Venice Immersive Island (Isola del Lazzaretto Vecchio), located across from Riva di Corinto on the Lido di Venezia. The 2025 selection is composed of a total of 69 projects from twenty-seven countries
